Release Date: January 9, 2018

I’m over this year, and I’m over relationships.  I’ve learned that the only person you can count on in life is yourself.  Moving forward, I’m living for me.  Working toward standing on my own two feet, that’s my goal.  Funny how meeting him changed my path.

It’s been years since I’ve been back in this small town of
West Virginia for more than a day or two.  Spending time here brings back
a lot of fond memories.  When I stopped by an old friend’s bar, I was
expecting to grab a drink and catch up.  What I didn’t expect was her.
We share an undeniable attraction, but we continue to fight it.
Until one night in Vegas changes everything.

I know I know I have been MIA for a while. A few months in fact. I have had many things change and have had to adjust accordingly. So until I start making money on this blog I am going to have to put it on the back burner. I will not be taking any new submissions or request for a while. Until I can get things running smoothly again on the home front. However, regardless of these changes there are some books I have already promised I would write reviews on. I will also still write the reviews on some of my favorite authors. one being Kaylee Ryan. I have read every single one of her books. Some I am bigger fan of then others. Hey, Whiskey is a stand alone and a strong one in that.

These two characters come to each other with their own baggage. One of theme literally. Saylor has lost everyone in her life and none she is trying to redefine herself. Entering into a little bar she didn’t expect she would find a job, friends, and a place to live. The bar became her saving grace. Then she meets him. Rhett. He walks into the bar acting like he owns the place and beings to use his charms on Saylor. Well girl doesn’t fall for it. These two then have their lives thrown at each other and intertwined. Their relationship is steamy because they are able to withstand one another for only so long.

When Rhett goes back to West Virginia to help out his grandfather he didn’t think he would be there very long. As his time there continues and rekindling with old friends helps him find who he is and wants to be. meeting Saylor was just the icing on the cake. She couldn’t walk into a room without Rhett having his full attention on her.

One weekend in Vegas as a favor turns into a mistake that neither of them are sure they were wanting to make. Now it is a waiting game until they can rectify the problem. But is it really a problem or providence?

I ate through this book in less then 24 hours. Couldn’t put it down. Loved every minute of it. I want to say one things about Kaylee Ryan’s books. Do not be deceived by the covers. The covers have Oh So Gorgeous men on them, but these books are NOT erotica. There is so much more story, character development, and pulled heart strings. Her books have depth. That is why I love them. Yes they have hot scene that make you need a fan or a tall glass off wine. But they are so much more then that. I love the way she writes and the way her characters grow.

Overall I will always tell you to read a Kaylee Ryan book. You will never be disappointed. I am giving this one 4 hearts. Not my favorite, but it was still amazing.
