Imagine if all the little girls of the world looked alike.
If the Same Glam Goddess gets her way, it can surely happen.
McKenzie Rivers, the pint-sized daredevil, and Lizzie Sanders, who loves all things frilly, aren’t afraid of being different. And that’s exactly why Princess Lovina of Exquisite City calls upon them to stop the Same Glam Goddess from making all the little girls of the world look the same. With the aid of their magical lovely lockets and fierce diva weaponry, Lizzie and McKenzie will travel the world to find the Seven Crystals of Sisterhood. Their first stop is the magical city of Madrid.
Lizzie and McKenzie will need help to obtain the crystals before the Same Glam Goddess gets her hands on them. If the crystals are not found, little girls all over the world will remain under the spell of the Same Glam Goddess and will lose their identities forever! Will Lizzie and McKenzie be able to find the crystals, break the spell, and stop the Same Glam Goddess?
The rain starts to calm down, and a beautiful rainbow appears. “Wow!” the girls say, eyes wide in amazement. Multi-colored raindrops fall to the ground, forming a sparkling rainbow puddle near their feet. The puddle gets bigger and bigger. It slowly begins to rise, twisting and turning until it stops and reveals a woman standing before Lizzie and McKenzie. Her skin is the color of milk chocolate, she wears a silver crown draped with pink jewels, and she carries a long scepter.
“Who are you?” McKenzie and Lizzie stammer.
“I am Princess Lovina, and I’m from Exquisite City.”
Princess Lovina smiles sweetly. “That’s okay. It’s pronounced ex…quis…ite.”
“What does it mean?” McKenzie asks.
“Exquisite means very unique and beautiful. It stands out from others. In Exquisite City, it’s okay to be different. We don’t bully, we don’t tease, and we love to learn new things,” Princess Lovina explains. “I’m here because I need your help.”
“Who us? How would we be able to help?” Lizzie asks.
“The Same Glam Goddess is on a mission to make all the little girls of the world look the same,” Princess Lovina says.
“The Same Glam Goddess? Who is she?”
“The Same Glam Goddess is the ruler of Look-A-Like City. Her beauty is known throughout the land, but for whatever reason she has become evil. Everyone has to follow the same rules and way of life in Look-A-Like City, or they are severely punished. The Same Glam Goddess can’t control when you are born, but she can control how you celebrate your birthday, holidays, just about every day. She doesn’t like things that are different.”
“But why do you need our help?” McKenzie asks.
“I’ve been watching you two from afar, and I see that you both are very brave and have a friendship that’s pure and strong. Most importantly, you believe in being different,” Princess Lovina says.
“How would she be able to make everyone the same?” they both wonder aloud.
Princess Lovina begins to explain. “The Same Glam Goddess stole the Sacred Scroll of False Vanity from our city. She tricked the guards that were protecting it on Adorn Mountain. While we teach the importance of being different and celebrating your own true beauty, there once was a time when others didn’t believe in that. These people were more focused on a person’s outside appearance than on one’s inner beauty. They would make fun of people’s looks and hurt their feelings. Eventually, they were punished and realized the error of their ways. The Sacred Scrolls of False Vanity contains dark magic and evil spells. One of the spells is being able to make all the little girls of the world to look the same. The spell can only be cast temporarily for now, but to make the spell permanent she would need to recite the evil spell and gather the Seven Crystals of Sisterhood.”
“If everyone looked the same, that wouldn’t be fun,” Lizzie says.
