To love the outdoors or to not love the outdoors, that is the question. For Miriam she grew up knowing about the outdoors and experiencing some aspects of it through her father. She has sworn off ever associating with anything or anyone that actively participating in dare-devilish or adrenaline seeking activities. This is all came about because of the loss of her father. She rather keep focused on her PR firm and her closet of Malone shoes. Running into a tall, dark, handsome stranger who enjoys the outdoor lifestyle wasn’t something she was seeking for. Now she craves his company in and outside the bedroom.Jason is the new CEO of an outdoor equipment and clothing company. He was brought on because of how successful he was at building his own business. He moved to the city with his sister and nephew. He wanted to help his little family as much as he could and this was the best way to do it. So now he owns a duplex and shares it with his sis. He still remains active with his outdoors activities, but one conversation with his the alluring neighbor has him stopping in his tracks. Now he has to work with her and try to help her see that the outdoors isn’t as scary as it may seem.

Totally loved this story. It was sweet and sassy. A woman that loves the girly things in life. She enjoys her shopping and shoes. Miriam wants to be a presentable person and is determined to not allow others to dictate her life. I enjoyed that she was a hard working woman with goals and had respect for herself. She had some insecurities, but nothing that would hinder her overall relationships. I enjoyed has Jason brought out an adventures side of Miriam. She was able to embrace in activities that she was too afraid of.

I have crawled and maneuvered my way through ice caves years ago, and it can be scary if you are a first timer. Her going spelunking was so much fun to read. The experience and beauty that was portrayed on the pages was just a perfect description of what is it like journey through cold, damp, caves. Bravo.

Jason and Miriam’s chemistry is sizzling off the pages. They don’t get to graphic with their little escapades, but we are satisfy none the less.

Jason’s devotion to his nephew is endearing. It makes ones heart beat a little harder. Reading about a man with so much devotion and sacrificing for his family was absolutely perfect. Your romantic heart will have those heart strings pulling.

Miriam and Jason both grow through the story. They each have to learn to release control of one part of their life while at the same time allow themselves to be open and trusting enough to allow another person in. Miriam doesn’t want to lose any one else in her life. Jason doesn’t believe he can devote the attention to his current family and job and still be able to maintain a personal life.

Their story is sweet and loveable. I highly recommend it.
