A football hottie.
Girl that lost a lot in her life. Come to together in an amazing Love Story. How can you not love it?
Allie, heads off to her freshman year in college and meets her roommate Hallie. Hallie’s brother and some of his friends come over to help the girls move into their dorm. When Allie meets Hallie’s brother Liam, she can’t breathe and her heart feels like it will beat right out of her chest. Her sweet and reserved nature keeps her from pursuing or giving the impression that she is looking for something serious, or even a fling.
Liam is beginning his senior year as UNC’s as their starting QB. His goals: play hard to make the NFL draft, watch out for his little sister who is beginning her freshman year, and not to get involved in a relationship.
Well his plan is fool-proof till he meets Hallie’s roommate Allie. From that moment on he falls all over his feet whenever she is near. He feels a need to protect her and claim her as his. Girls have always been easy for him to get into his bed, but he knows Allie isn’t that type of girl. He doesn’t just want her for one night, he wants to have her with him every second of every day.
As the semester progress and Allie and Liam are thrown together in multiple situations, their connection ignites and neither can deny the longing they have for one another any longer.
The book is dual POV from Liam and Allie. You get to see them making their friendship a first priority. I think that makes their situation more realistic. Too many other NA novels have the couple jumping into a bed. I like the slow realistic progression. I believe it shows a healthy way to have a friendship evolve into a romantic relationship.
There were a few things that annoyed me about the some of the characters and their reactions to things, but hey everyone has some flaws.
Now I like this one better then Halley and Aiden’s story in book 2, but there is also book 3 with POV of all four of these characters. Do not worry my friends, I will post info and rants on both of those books in the future.
It is just so much easier to back track about books that I love then to go back and review books that I hated with a passion.
Why? Cause I love it, that is why!
Okay, you don’t HAVE TO,
but I strongly encourage.
I really, really liked it.
I hope you do to!
Reminds me of Liam and Allie
EVERY-TIME I listen to it.
